Launchpad Quest Debuts as a New Digital Discovery Hub for Libraries

Solon, Ohio — March 16, 2026 — Playaway Products has announced the introduction of Launchpad Quest, a 21.5-inch interactive touchscreen hub, purpose-built for libraries and shared community spaces serving children ages 3–10.

Pre-loaded with up to 150 curated educational apps, games, and storybooks, Launchpad Quest requires no downloads, updates, Wi-Fi setup, or license management. Each device arrives ready to use, providing libraries with a turnkey digital learning solution for public spaces.

Developed in collaboration with library systems nationwide, Quest was created in response to growing demand for a non-circulating, large-format digital experience.

The commercial-grade touchscreen features large, touch-friendly icons, picture-based navigation with narration, six core subject areas, and age-based filtering to support independent discovery. Content partners include Smithsonian, Hasbro, Highlights, Smile and Learn, and Lightbox Learning.

Designed with administrators in mind, Quest eliminates ongoing tech management and includes a password-protected portal with device controls and aggregate usage insights—collecting no personal data.
