We caught up with Joyce Stone, our Customer Experience Manager, to talk about what her team loves most about supporting libraries and schools, what’s new behind the scenes, and a few tips every customer should know.
1. Introduce yourself and tell us what you do.
Hi! I’m Joyce Stone, the Customer Experience Manager here at Playaway Products. I work with our incredible CX team to make sure every customer has an amazing experience from start to finish.
2. What is your favorite thing about getting to work with libraries and schools?
The library was my happy place growing up! I can still remember the smell of books and the thrill of opening one to start a new adventure. It feels so special to now be part of a company that helps share those same stories—and to work with libraries and schools that make them available to everyone.
3. What can customers expect when they reach out to the CX team?
You can always count on being treated with kindness, respect, and quick support! Our goal is to respond to your message within one business day and stay connected until everything is resolved. We’re here to make sure you feel fully supported — and hopefully make your day a little easier, too.
4. What is a benefit or service we offer that you wish new customers knew about?
So many people don’t realize this, but you can download a free PDF of every title art insert right from the Product Detail page! It’s a super easy way to replace a missing or damaged insert without waiting time.
5. What's a recent change we made that you've seen increase customer satisfaction?
Earlier this year, we made setting up cataloging and processing even easier by moving the process completely online! It’s faster, smoother, and has really helped our customers get up and running more efficiently.
